Canna Hydro (Substra) Vega SW A&B works:
Hydro Vega A & B is a great 2-part nutrient for plants in their vegetative cycle right through to the first 2 weeks of the flowering cycle. The soft water (SW) version has been specially optimised for use in hard water areas. There is also a version for use in hard (HW) water areas.
Canna Hydro Vega SW has been specially designed for run-to-waste hydroponic systems, it is not really suitable for mediums such as soil or coco e.g. clay pebbles. It contains all the high-quality mineral ingredients to provide all the basic macro and micronutrients that plants need for a successful flowering phase.
Using Canna Hydro (Substra) Vega SW A&B:
Once you have filled your run to waste hydroponic system reservoir with water and added the correct amounts of Canna Hydro Vega SW part A and Part B to reach the required strength, ensure you mix thoroughly
Use 2-4ml/litre (CF of 12-20) of both part A and part B. For small plants use 2ml/litre and as the plant gets bigger and approaches flowering use up to 4ml/litre.
For a completely accurate measurement is it better to use a syringe or beaker and also a CF/EC/PPM meter to check the nutrient strength and adjust as necessary.
The next step is to add any boosters and additives you wish to use and then ensure you mix well. Ideally with a pH meter to get a completely accurate result, adjust the pH up or down to the required level.
It is recommended to renew the water and nutrient solution in your reservoir every 7 days if you are using Canna Coco in a hydroponic system
It is specifically designed to be used together in equal amounts. Using only part A or part B, will result in a nutrient solution that is not properly balanced, you must ensure they are properly balanced you must ensure they are used in equal amounts, if you don’t it will almost definitely lead to your plants suffering from deficiencies and becoming weak
Never mix your nutrients, boosters and additives together in their concentrated form (i.e. straight from the bottle). Always add each nutrient, booster or additive to your water or feed water individually, making sure it is mixed well before adding the next one.
Manufacturer's recommended dosage rates are only for vigorously growing plants that are in the peak of health. Slower growing plants and those that are not 100% healthy will require a lower dosage rate.
