Sunmaster bulbs are one of the most popular solutions for commercial hydroponics in the uk.

Metal Halide (MH) bulbs are specifically engineered for early growth and vegetation. Their output is centred on the blue end of the light spectrum. The Lamps have been chemically balanced to produce as much photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) output as possible, a measure of total light available for photosynthesis. The plants can use most of the light generated during growth, producing more biomass, larger leaves and stronger stems, putting your plants in the perfect position for blossom.

MH should be used for the growth phase only unless they are being utilised as part of a larger garden with mixed lighting. Professional growers often use a ratio of 2 HPS: 1 MH throughout flower to produce optimum results.

These work on a normal HPS ballast so you can easily switch between bulbs to optimise your results through all stages of growth; seedling, vegetation and flower.
